The Heart Behind Cha Cha’s House
Every great mission begins with one person whose love leaves a lasting impact.
Cha Cha’s House was created in honor of my mother, affectionately known as “Cha Cha.” She believed that everyone deserved kindness, respect, and a place where they felt welcomed. Her home was more than a house—it was a refuge. Whether someone needed a warm meal, a listening ear, encouragement, or simply a place to feel safe, her door was always open.
She never asked where people came from or what circumstances brought them to her. She simply loved them.
Her selfless spirit became the foundation for Cha Cha’s House.

Today, we continue her legacy by opening our hearts to those facing difficult circumstances. We believe that every act of compassion creates hope and every helping hand has the power to change someone’s life.
Although our vision reaches far beyond city limits, our journey begins right here in San Diego. We are committed to serving our local community first, building strong partnerships, and creating lasting change. As our impact grows, we look forward to expanding our services throughout California, across the United States, and eventually around the world.
Cha Cha’s House is more than a nonprofit.
It is a promise that kindness still exists, hope can always be restored, and no one has to face life’s challenges alone.
